Drew 2 year check-up

Drew had his 2 year check-up on December 17th.

Weight: 29 lbs (75%)
Height: 37" (97%)
Head: 19.5" (82%)

• Definitely entering the 2's and wanting to do everything himself with occasional stomping feet and fist pounding demands and frustrations, but is so easily distracted that no temper tantrum ever lasts too long
• Loves to sing in the crib, his car or at dinner. Current favorite songs: Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, Frosty the Snowman, ABC and any pop that his brother listens to over and over like All About the Base and Shake it Off
• Likes to yell and use a gruff monster voice to get laughs and attention
• Is still an amazing sleeper. All we need to say is 'want to go night night and get your paci and blanket?' and he walk himself right to his room waving goodnight to everyone around 
• Loves flipping through magazines, they keep his interest longer than a book!
• Can sit and independently play very well sometimes even with Jordan, but most times it's still better if they are separated and focused on their own tasks
• Says please, thank you, bless you and sorry automatically without being prompted which is a major difference between he and Jordan
• Likes dress-up and hats and props like his brother
• Genuinely loves animals and is not afraid of any of them - his first instinct is to run towards them all for a hug and kiss be it chicken, dog or horse
• Loves daycare and being around Jordan and the older kids so much that he is always hanging out in the Pre-K classroom and has become their mascot
• In general is a happy and funny kid making him a total joy to be around - even in his worst moods he is easy!
