Drew's 1-year check-up

Drew turned 1 on 12.9.13 and had his 1-year check-up the week after with the following stats:

Weight - 23 lbs (75%)
Length - 31" (89%)
Head - 18.25" (76%)

• He's still heavy, but his look is thinning out a bit so he's less of a butterball
• He stands on his own and is very proud of himself, but is yet to take a step
• He is using more sounds and definitely has his 'no' which sounds like 'aww-no aww-no aww-no' that he'll repeat over and over
• He is an excellent sleeper and never complains at bedtime and never gets up
• His favorite activity is to wrestle with his brother in a huge pile of blankets or dance to loud music (we are starting to get scared that it's Jordan part two)
• He's done with formula and loves to eat regular food, but is very particular and only wants to feed himself
• He still hates the car and spends some rides to and from daycare screaming which is lovely
• He can't stand his winter coat and usually has a tantrum and lies on the ground like so...

Drew is still so snuggly and even in his worst mood he is easily distractible it's still pretty easy. But real toddlerhood is clearly just around the corner and I don't think he's going to be as sweat as we first predicted. I just keep repeating the old saying that 'you can't have two bad kids right??'
