Day out with Mama

The Friday before Labor Day Jordan's daycare was closed so we had a day-out together. We took the Metro downtown to my work to say hello to everyone. He was pretending to be shy at first but before long he gained confidence and was running around yelling inappropriately.

DC has a very small aquarium that has a really bad rep and most people don't even know about, but it's actually great for toddlers. It was air conditioned, quiet and just right for Jordan to explore and enjoy himself w/out me having to keep telling him 'NO' or 'DON'T TOUCH'. He loved the alligators the most.

We ended the day eating our lunches from the farmers market in the Federal Triangle square area where they had a band playing. Jordan thinks that no matter where we are if there is music playing it gives him a license to dance (aka run in circles clapping and doing some type of fist pumping).
