BIG BOY

For the past few months Jordan has been exclaiming himself to be a "BIG BOY!". Everything is "NO I DO" or "NO BIG BOY". He is definitely claiming his toddler independence and wants thing just so.

We pulled out this step-stool so that he can be at the counter-level with me while I make dinner. He used to sit on the ground crying at my feet so this is a much better solution and keeps him happy. Sometimes he even wants to eat his meals like this so we let him.

We also had to finally stop trying to put him in his highchair because he refuses to sit in it or on a booster seat. So instead he eats his meals like this and can barely reach his food!

Here are a few from last night where he wanted to eat half his meal on the chair (at least he learned to sit more upright on his knees) and the other half standing at the counter. I'm not complaining because he ate every last bite!
