As mentioned before, we took our yearly week+ vacation up to Cape Cod to hang out with friends and family. We have some old traditions we keep up as well as making new ones with the kids.
This year we timed our trip so we were able to run the Brew Run thrown by the town of Brewster’s local dive bar, The Woodshed. Uncle Mark and Jay ran it with me, while Uncle Adam saved himself for the more popular Falmouth road race.
The week was spent enjoying time at my parents beach on Brewster Bay. Jordan loved it and was able to stay all day; playing, swimming, eating and napping. Thank God because I was worried he wouldn’t like it and no baby of mine can hate the beach. We also went to the Kacamburas pad to enjoy the comforts of ‘resort’ living and pool time at Ocean Edge.
Old high school friends stopped by with their kids which made us wish we saw them more (tear) as well my my Aunt Elaine, Uncle Dick, Cousin Chris and Nona.
We ended the week having our 7th anniversary dinner at the very shi shi Chillingsworth courtesy of gift certificate from Yai Yai and Papou. It was great seeing everyone and cousins Jack and Kyle grow up literally in front of my eyes over the 10 days we were there.
*Important note - Jordan had to go to the emergency medical center the night we were going out to eat lobsters and ended up having an ear infection. If you see him, remind him that he owes me a lobster!
